How to Take Your Measurements

To ensure accuracy, use a flexible measuring tape and measure while wearing light clothing or fitted undergarments. Stand straight and relaxed, and avoid pulling the tape too tight.

Shoulders

Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other across your upper back. This measurement helps ensure a proper fit for tops, dresses, and jackets.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust while keeping the tape level across your back. This determines how the garment will fit around the chest area.

Waist

Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waistline, typically located just above the belly button and below the rib cage.

Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips while keeping your feet together. This ensures comfort and ease of movement.

Dress Length

Measure from the highest point of your shoulder down to the desired hemline. Length may vary depending on the garment style.

Thigh

Measure around the fullest part of your upper thigh. This is especially important for fitted skirts, shorts, and jeans.

Leg Opening

Measure around the bottom opening of the pant leg. This measurement determines how fitted or relaxed the leg opening will be.

Finding Your Perfect Fit
